This Komet amp features a prototype 37W head and prototype Komet attenuator both labeled JoJo with the build date stamped into box. This amp rocks and at 37W allows the player to have the touch responsive drive and grind at reasonable gig levels.
This one off Komet head includes a matching Komet attenuator. Running a pair of EL34s (w option to use 6V6, 6L6 or EL34 and bias jacks) the amp puts out about 37W. The amp includes a Komet Pulse Jet transformer and Komet standard 60W output transformer built to the specs of a TW Express, with the addition of a Hi Cut control. This amp does not have a choke but incorporates a 1K resistor (as the original TW Express). A solid-state diode module is installed in the rectifier tube socket and should never be removed, i.e. the amp CANNOT use a rectifier tube. The matching JOJO labeled attenuator allows you to play at reasonable volumes for home use or stage volume control
